ACCESS
You have multiple options for providing access to your home: The most convenient method is to leave a key to your residence with us. Your key will be kept safe and secure in our key safe. All keys are coded for security and will never have your name or address attached to them. If you have an alarm system, please provide access instructions.
For your safety, Lou's Home Solutions does not return keys by mail. We ask that customers arrange a key pickup or drop-off time and present a picture ID. If it is not possible to leave a key with Lou's Home Solutions, you may meet the service provider at your residence. Please refer to the Cancellation Policy should Lou's Home Solutions be unable to access your home during the preset arrival window. If any of the above options are not possible, please make alternate arrangements with Lou's Home Solutions upon booking.
PAYMENT
Full payment is due at the time of your booking. Unless booking our Luxe Reset service, where payment will be collected following a walk-through and before service begins.
Lou's Home Solutions accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, PayPal, Check, or cash.
A $25 fee will be charged for each returned check or failed credit card transaction.
SCHEDULING & Timing
All cleanings are booked in standard time blocks predetermined by the owner, with a 30 minute to 1 hour grace window (service dependent) to allow for variations in cleaning needs and conditions. If additional time is required beyond this window, an overtime fee will apply. Clients will be charged $25 per additional 30 minutes beyond the originally scheduled time block. Every effort will be made to complete your service within the time allocated. We will always communicate with you before extending a time block.
Recurring cleanings are scheduled based on the customized checklist and priorities established during your initial Signature Service Walk-Through. This ensures consistency, efficiency and personalized care each visit. As a returning customer, you'll receive a loyalty discount on your reoccurring cleanings as a thank-you for trusting us with your space. This discounted price is already reflected on the booking page, no discount code needed.
We kindly ask for your patience as we get to know your home and its specific needs. Areas requiring extra attention will be prioritized in future maintenance cleanings, and a first-time cleaning fee may apply for homes needing additional care beyond the Signature clean. If your home requires this additional first-time cleaning fee beyond the Signature clean, we will communicate this and receive approval before proceeding.
We reserve the right to charge additional fees to the final price of cleanings where cleanings are deemed as heavy or inappropriate to the description of the home submitted at booking. To be safe, always check the information you entered into the booking form and remember that for us to perform our job you should leave the place uncluttered.
Cancellation & Refunds
We understand it may be necessary to reschedule or cancel your service appointment. If you need to reschedule or cancel a service, Lou's Home Solutions requires a 48 hour notice. If we receive less than two business days’ notice, or if we cannot access your home upon arrival, it will be necessary to charge you up to 80% of the full price of the booked service. All future cleanings will remain unchanged. Please contact Lou directly to make schedule changes. Recurring services are priced at a discounted rate. Should you choose to cancel recurring service after only one cleaning our regular One-Time Cleaning charges will apply.
Lou's Home Solutions does not offer refunds on services that have been rendered in full. However, your satisfaction is our priority - If you feel any area was not cleaned to your expectations, please contact us within 24 hours. We'll gladly return to address any missed spots at no additional charge.
Supplies
Lou's Home Solutions uses safe and reliable cleaning supplies to clean your home. However, if you own special products that you would like to have used on particular surfaces, we are happy to accommodate your request.
Damage Disclaimer
While every effort is made to handle your belongings with care, we are not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, improperly mounted fixtures, or normal wear and tear. Please notify us in advance of any high-value or delicate items.
If something is damaged, Lou's Home Solutions is bonded and insured. If breakage/loss occurs, notification must be made within 48 hours of service.
Pets
We love pets! However, we cannot be responsible for their well-being while servicing your home. Please make sure pets are put away while we are on the premises.
Service Limitations
For safety and insurance purposes, we do not climb higher than a three-step ladder.
We will attempt to reach all visible areas with either an extension duster or vacuum extension.
We cannot move items weighing more than 25 pounds.
We cannot touch or move firearms in order to clean an area. Clients who own firearms should move them to a safe and secure area where we will not be expected to clean.
We do not clean animal/human feces, urine, vomit, blood or other similar bio-hazard materials.
We do not use bleach, except for at the client’s request. Please note, we will not be responsible for damage it may cause.
We do not remove or haul away trash, debris or furniture. This also applies to Post Construction Clean Up.
Before we report to a new construction job site, all equipment, tools and/or debris must be removed for our safety. It is highly recommended that all work orders for construction are completed prior to our services. The final clean we provide is thorough and detailed in preparation for the new homeowners to move in. We place no guarantee on this type of service as contractors may continue to work in the home following our service. We take no responsibility for the outcome of cleanings which fall under “NEW CONSTRUCTION”.
Photos and Social Media
We occasionally take before and after photos of our work to document results and for promotional purposes. Client identity and privacy are always respected. if you prefer your space not be photographed, please let us know in advance.
Safety and Hazards
We reserve the right to decline or reschedule services if the environment is deemed unsafe (e.g. presence of pests, hazardous materials, or unsafe working conditions). Additional charges may apply for excessive clutter or bio-hazard conditions.
Weather or Emergency Rescheduling
In the event of severe weather or emergencies, we may need to reschedule your service for safety reasons. We will contact you as soon as possible and prioritize your rescheduling.
General Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions (“Agreement”) set forth the general terms and conditions of your use of the loushomesolutions.com website (“Website”), “Lou's List” mobile application (“Mobile Application”) and any of their related products and services (collectively, “Services”). This Agreement is legally binding between you (“User”, “you” or “your”) and Lou's Home Solutions (“Lou's Home Solutions”, “we”, “us” or “our”). If you are entering into this Agreement on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to this Agreement, in which case the terms “User”, “you” or “your” shall refer to such entity. If you do not have such authority, or if you do not agree with the terms of this Agreement, you must not accept this Agreement and may not access and use the Services. By accessing and using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. You acknowledge that this Agreement is a contract between you and Lou's Home Solutions, even though it is electronic and is not physically signed by you, and it governs your use of the Services.

Although the Services may link to other resources (such as websites, mobile applications, etc.), we are not, directly or indirectly, implying any approval, association, sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation with any linked resource, unless specifically stated herein. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating, and we do not warrant the offerings of, any businesses or individuals or the content of their resources. We do not assume any responsibility or liability for the actions, products, services, and content of any other third parties. You should carefully review the legal statements and other conditions of use of any resource which you access through a link on the Services. Your linking to any other off-site resources is at your own risk.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Lou's Home Solutions and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, suppliers and licensors harmless from and against any liabilities, losses, damages or costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, incurred in connection with or arising from any third party allegations, claims, actions, disputes, or demands asserted against any of them as a result of or relating to your Content, your use of the Services or any willful misconduct on your part.
Severability
All rights and restrictions contained in this Agreement may be exercised and shall be applicable and binding only to the extent that they do not violate any applicable laws and are intended to be limited to the extent necessary so that they will not render this Agreement illegal, invalid or unenforceable. If any provision or portion of any provision of this Agreement shall be held to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, it is the intention of the parties that the remaining provisions or portions thereof shall constitute their agreement with respect to the subject matter hereof, and all such remaining provisions or portions thereof shall remain in full force and effect.
Changes and amendments
We reserve the right to modify this Agreement or its terms related to the Services at any time at our discretion. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We may also provide notice to you in other ways at our discretion, such as through the contact information you have provided.
An updated version of this Agreement will be effective immediately upon the posting of the revised Agreement unless otherwise specified. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised Agreement (or such other act specified at that time) will constitute your consent to those changes.
Acceptance of these terms
You acknowledge that you have read this Agreement and agree to all its terms and conditions. By accessing and using the Services you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the terms of this Agreement, you are not authorized to access or use the Services.
